Telling stories through interior design

What will the workplace of the future look and feel like, and which projects are already leading the way? These are some of the questions upon which the jury of the iF Design Awards 2024 ponder. An award is more than just a recognition of individual achievement – it serves as a weathervane of innovation and progress in design. Offices and other public interiors (including banks, medical practices, insurance companies, law practices, office buildings, production facilities and more) must promote productivity, comfort, and collaboration, while also creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable, and visually appealing.

Moreover, the design should reflect the values and brand of the organization. Some of the most exciting trends identified by the iF Design Award jury include storytelling through design, organic and sculptural forms, reimagining open spaces, and the playful use of glass blocks, neon and tiles.

The iF DESIGN AWARD discipline Interior Architecture and Architecture in the catagory "office" is open for governmental projects in the public space for the people or for built or designed by architects in charge of companies.
