When the two largest hospitals in the Amsterdam metropolitan region merged, their interventional cardiology departments formed a new heart center that brought two teams under one roof. The center will perform over 7,500 interventional procedures a year, becoming the largest heart center in the region. The customer contracted the Philips Experience Design multidisciplinary team to help shape the vision of the future cardiology team by developing a comprehensive solution that addresses the customer's challenge of how to translate the vision for better heart care into a workable plan for the heart center that will inspire staff and meet future challenges.
