Rebranding project

The Community Recycling Network rebranding scheme was an initiative by the Environment Protection Department to promote recycling in Hong Kong. The design team proposed a unified network of recycling hotspots, and in 2020, 22 Recycling Stores were launched across all 18 districts of Hong Kong. The idea was for the shops to become friendly and trustworthy neighbors, positioned as recycling convenience stores with a bold and sleek pop-up store image. The streamlined design tremendously increased public participation in recycling, particularly among the younger generation, and disrupted the market to an ever-growing recycling network.
