Private residence

House T is located in a residential district in Taichung. The owners are a couple that wishes to have separate bedrooms but still be closely involved with each other’s life. We used the concept of permutation of four layers of 3-by-3 grids and multiple staircases to create the various connecting modes between the bedrooms and shared spaces. With daylight guiding the flow, the bond between the couple will be closer thanks to more interfaces of interaction.
