This project comprises a report, website, video and presentation on World Forum and Climate Conference. It outlines key pathways by which date palm cultivation can contribute to ecosystem restoration. The oasis we all know actually is a date palm ecosystem with an ideal microclimate, a perfect symbiosis between humidity, heat and light. The Middle East and North Africa is dealing with the effects of climate change, desertification and drought. It has a huge impact on every habitat. The date palm ecosystem can help to adapt to climate change. This project is a bio-circular approach for a sustainable future in the Arabic and African world.
