Pavilion

The Timescapes pavilion leverages the precision of 3D printing to reduce the wastage in construction to almost zero. Plant-based biopolymer PLA is used as a filament to reduce the time for bio-degradation from hundreds of years to a few decades. This iconic design inspires users with its bold and elegant geometry. With a simple gesture, the design creates a unique experience inwardly, while adding four pockets of spaces that activate the Campus Centre outwardly. Users become surprised and immersed inside this new manmade landscape integrated with more than 3,500 individual and bespoke components.
