Device for endoscopic submucosal dissection
TRACMOTION is a device for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) that simplifies the en bloc resection of potentially cancerous tumors in the gastrointestinal tract. Inserted through a dual-channel endoscope, the 360° rotatable jaws enable a single endoscopist to grasp tissue with a high degree of freedom. This enhances visibility and facilitates excision, which may reduce ESD procedure times. ESD enables physicians to remove lesions without invasive open surgery, and this device’s operability has the potential to lead to new styles of ESD and promote uptake of the procedure.
