FREUND is specialized in the manufacturing and retailing of high quality hand tools for roof laying, sheet metal, carpentry and drywall. FREUND is leading worldwide in the production of specific tools for working on slates and tiles. The company’s origins go back way before 1900. Already in 1844 Rudolf FREUND had set up a forgery in Wuppertal Cronenberg on exactly the same site where FREUND now stands today. On the 18th November 1900 Peter Friedrich FREUND registered the name P.F.FREUND at the local magistrate’s court in Elberfeld (now Wuppertal) since then FREUND has grown steadily.  Through years of experience and manufacturing competence encompassing all hand tools for roofs and facades, are we able to meet the high demands of our craftsmen. Our products are characterized  through innovation, quality and efficiency. Our MasterCut project was assisted by the Wuppertal product designer Hannes Mayer. His extensive knowledge and over 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of products from renowned manufacturers, also led us to the successful development and distinction of the MasterCut project.
