  Riva is a manufacturer of luxury goods in Stainless Steel and Silver, located in the city of Caxias do Sul, southern of Brazil, was founded in 1988 by Rubens Simões, and is one of the icons of Brazilian design. Betting on design as a main tool, Riva has won the most major awards of the design world as iF Design Award (2006, 2011, 2013), Reddot Design Award (2008, 2011), Good Design (2009, 2010), Designpreiss (2007, 2011, 2012) in addition to the national prizes as Museu da Casa Brasileira (2007, 2008), Design Excellence Brazil (2009, 2011, 2012) and Salão Design da Casa Brasil.
