Prof. Ricardo Gomez

Prof. Ricardo Gomes is the coordinator of the Design Center for Global Needs/Nathan Shapira Design Archive in the School of Design at San Francisco State University. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Human-Centered Design and the Industrial Designers Society of America. Ricardo was a Fulbright Scholar in Kenya and Coordinator of Design Projects in Developing Countries, ENSCI, Paris. He has lectured extensively, conducted workshops and juries at institutions and universities throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the U.S. He received his M.F.A. in Design for Low-income Economies and the M.A in Architecture at UCLA as well as the B.F.A. in Industrial Design at the Massachusetts College of Art.
