Donut - Game Controller for children based on MI-BCI

Game Device

Children with limb defects or muscle weakness have difficulty playing computer games, an important peer-bonding experience. This innovative game controller uses a brain-computer interface based on motor imagery to control input by capturing EEG signals. Following some basic training, disabled children wearing headsets can join in games against other kids holding controllers. Kids love donuts, so the smart device was designed to resemble donuts and syrup, making it more enticing for all kids.

This concept showcases a remarkable design effort, which aims to give children with limited mobility the chance to enjoy video games with ease.
