Campana

Brazilian Furniture Designers

For over 35 years, the Campana brothers have drawn creative inspiration from the objects and materials that are most familiar to Brazilians, pushing the boundaries of art and design in a distinctive manner. Through creative endeavors that reveal what is invisible around us, it is not an overstatement to claim that the Campana brothers have challenged and expanded the very notion of Brazilian visual culture. The creative team was tasked with translating the power and uniqueness of the brothers’ work into an exciting new visual identity that would showcase the Campana brothers’ Institute and Studio as two facets of the same brand.

iF Gold Statement

In redesigning the visual identity of their design studio and research institute, the Campana brothers set out to capture the pioneering spirit and materiality of their work in letters, shapes, textures, and motion graphics. The result is a unique and intriguing fusion of craft, concept, and culture. This gold award is dedicated to the memory of Fernando Campana, who died in 2022.
