Fingo
Musical rehabilitation device for children
Early intervention is vital for children with neurological or orthopedic conditions, greatly influencing their recovery. Most rehabilitation devices cater to adults and feature repetitive tasks that may not engage children. FINGO revolutionizes this by offering an interactive musical experience, encouraging kids to press, grasp, shake, and pluck in line with therapeutic movements. This turns exercises into fun music-making, enhancing motivation and aiding long-term recovery.
Fingo is so fun and engaging that it's easy to overlook that it's also a rehabilitation tool. The forms have well-realized proportions and materiality, the digital experience adds meaningfully to the experience, and every element ties together visually very successfully. This is a very well-conceived design concept.
