The design of this project was based on the client's wish to present spatial flexibility. Sliding screens can be used to create rooms of the appropriate size without walls. Spatial traditions are disrupted, but the original dining round dining tables are preserved. Gathering at a round table makes people feel welcome and comfortable. The most challenging part was keeping the original store's materials and giving them a different texture and feel. Finally, this project achieves a perfect balance between oriental cuisine and aesthetics.
