Breast Self-examination Application Design

Application Design

Early detection is an essential factor in successful cancer treatment, especially for breast cancer. Self-examination is therefore the first, basic step in breast cancer prevention. This project features a smartphone app that helps people perform breast self-examination. The prototype of the app presents the self-examination process step by step and contains helpful additional functions such as a calendar and recommendations from the best doctors or clinics. The app applies to both sexes as both men and women are at risk of breast cancer.

JURY STATEMENT

This engaging application is highly informative and easy to use. It is functional, simple and beautifully designed.

WINNER STATEMENT

I am very happy and proud that this project has been noticed and can be appreciated at an international scale. I am extremely grateful to have been chosen to receive the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. I hope that I will have the opportunity to implement this project and create a working application.
