OstoKit is a tailored solution for colostomy patients, prioritizing comfort and personalization. Addressing the absence of aesthetic features in colostomy medical devices, it introduces a subscription-based service driven by a 3D scan. Through an innovative design and additive manufacturing technology - the baseplate is reusable - OstoKit ensures cost-effectiveness, customization and responsible consumption. OstoKit enhances user experience emphasizing functionality, inclusivity, and disability pride, especially during sexual and fitness activities, while reducing stigmatization.

JURY STATEMENT

The topic of this project is highly interesting, seeking to dignify the use of medical elements in chronic diseases. The proposed solutions show a high development potential, and in some cases they suggest an improvement in relation to the ergonomics and adaptability. Congratulations!
