Health Application on Clinical Diagnostic Support
MedBrain is an AI-based clinical diagnostic support system for healthcare professionals in primary care settings. Once inserting the patient’s chief complaint, MedBrain generates a dynamic clinical interview based on asking questions to the patient and examining the patient’s body. After 10 to 15 of these dynamic steps, MedBrain generates an accurate diagnostic prediction. This allows nurses and health officers to achieve a specialist-level diagnostic accuracy in rural regions where neither specialist doctors nor advanced diagnostic tests are unavailable. WINNER STATEMENTWe are truly humbled to receive your award and excited for what’s to come! We are currently in the process of implementing MedBrain’s diagnostic solution in 25 rural hospitals throughout the Oromia Region, in Ethiopia. We will use the prize to fund MedBrain’s training programes: To train nurses and community health workers in how to effectively use MedBrain to save lives within their community.
