ZIEGLER / ALPAS Superstructure

Fire truck

The new generation of superstructures defines the future of fire truck designs at ZIEGLER. The latest generation of ALPAS lifts the aluminum frame philosophy to the next level. This modular system consists of front, axle, and rear segments and unites chassis, driver’s cab and wheelbase variations with maximum flexibility. Up to 30% reduction in weight and 10% more loading volume create capacity for large water tanks and additional equipment. The entrance height is lowered by 100 mm for easier access and easy removal of the loads. Finally, load paths are provided inside and outside of the vehicle for highly customizable configurations.
