100 beste Plakate 05

Poster exhibition

In the summer of 2006 the exhibition "100 beste Plakate 05" was installed in the Spreebogen Park Berlin, situated between the new central train station and the government district, for ten days. The posters were put on metal sheets and have been laminated for weather protection. Magnets fixed the sheets on the 100m long Corten-steel walls. The “100 beste Plakate e.V.” association initiated the exhibition. The aim of the team of five students and Prof. Axel Kufus was, to bring the poster out of a museum surrounding and place it back to where it belongs, into the public space. Posters always were meant to be placard in public.
