The Football Experience

Interactive installation

Football fans of all ages explore the subject of football related sports injuries at the exhibition “Goal Mine“, at the football stadium Cristal Arena KRC Genk/Belgium, by interacting with a customized touch-sensitive interface. The multi-user installation works as a tangible experience and turns the basically negative subject of injuries into an appealing experience for the visitor. The life-size 3D-figure has a highly abstract shape to lower users inhibitions of touching the body. On the other hand does the installation become alive by light choreography, realistic images of bones and multimedia content such as movie sequences, images, graphics and text.
