Work report

The Work Report No.6 is a representative documentation of the advanced seminar "Type Design" which took place in the 2006 summer semester at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The task was to feature the work processes needed to create a typeface as well as the subtle rules of type design. "the quick brown fox jumps" is divided in two main parts. The first provides an insight into the different phases of type development as it took place in the seminar. The second part provides an overview of all the typefaces which have been created in the course. With its translucent effect, the lightweight paper eases the stringency of the topic in a subtle manner.
