This house delightfully blends the essential refinement and simplicity of Taiwanese culture with a Japanese Zen style, piling up rich variations in different scenes. Overly complicated lines and ornate decoration are eschewed in favor of natural and elegant design from the floor upwards. The canopy retains the original structure of the walls, and the rough texture of the concrete ensures the right balance between softness and strength.
