7-Day Challenge Kit for Suicide attempter
Service design
Seoul Suicide Prevention Center
Despite the aftercare service, would-be suiciders are discharged without follow-up care due to the limited capacities of emergency rooms. The new aftercare kit was developed with the Seoul Suicide Prevention center. It will be given to people who have attempted suicide upon leaving the emergency room. This kit motivates and strengthens the will to recover through activities and provides counseling and related information as triggers to let attempters request help. A sea voyage is the motif of the kit, and the various elements are illustrated in a non-figurative style and in different colors to distinguish each challenge. The soft and warm design gives the user a sense of security.
