S(e)oul Drop is a modular public furniture system for the open spaces along the Han River in Seoul, Korea. It’s designed to adapt to the social distancing procedures and the growing needs of urban spaces for the public in a post-pandemic future. S(e)oul Drop is a water-droplet shaped seating system with a set of 5 modules, made of ultra high performance concrete. With its different module configurations, the seatings embrace the diverse waterfront conditions and landscapes of the River. S(e)oul Drop can provide various shapes of resting and playful spaces, promising the poetic experience of the Han RIver.
