TokyoYard Project
Exhibition and co-creation space
East Japan Railway Company
Takanawa Gateway is the first new station to be built on the famous Yamanote Line in 49 years, and in 2024, a new city will come to life around the station. The designers collaborated to develop two bases to help build this new city: Partner Base Takanawa Gateway Station (PB), a co-creation space for the partners involved in designing and building this new urban area, and TokyoYard Building (TYB), a local information center for the wider community and a place to develop new business and culture with the local community’s involvement.
