iCardio - Portable ECG

This project developed in the spanish design studio Carrera Design. The challenge was the design of an ultra-compact telemedicine ECG machine as precise and reliable as any other regular ECG, one that could function with fixed electrodes and is wireless, making the device very easy to carry. It could be used to quickly and cost-effectively check hundreds of people for early-warning diagnostics. The data is collected by an app installed in a mobile phone or tablet and sent to a server, in order for a cardiologist to evaluate the results and send the diagnosis back to the user.
