Cultural Retreat / Jung-Yuan Hou
As large amount of timber veneer elements imbued with the warmth of timber crystallized the cultural and relaxing styling for this residence of 78 square meters for the young couple client, the timber pattern and black and white color tone are the base in creating such warm and retreat ambiance filled with their love for travel. As the original three-room layout was converted to two-room with open study, the everyday living rituals of the client were considered as the living room was enlarged and furniture lowered to create a visually enlarged spaciousness while the spatial openness can enhance family interaction.
