Chifundo UK and Chanasa Malawi, sister charities, aim to empower girls and women in Malawi through funding their education and income generation. Chanasa Women's Enterprise comprising 50 unemployed women in poorer suburbs of Blantyre are equipped and enabled with skills for sewing and running a business. They create attractive sustainable fashion accessories and household products using recycled denim and cotton mixed with African fabrics. Lotus Project is also run to meet menstrual health need
