The filigree wooden design of “tendo” blends with the metal support structure, thereby combining graceful elegance and stability. A key aspect of the design is the synergetic interplay of the wood and stainless steel materials and their properties. Roman Delugan, architect and co-founder of Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, explains: “The material and form produce a shell chair which is extremely comfortable and easy to handle. The combination of the materials employed gives ‘tendo’ a special touch of lightness; seen in this regard, we have succeeded in creating an ideal contract chair which is easy to stack, offers great comfort etc."
