Flexport.org Fund
We secured access to the Flexport.org fund at the beginning of 2020, which we used to cover the cost of shipments of humanitarian aid. It was largely used in response to the pandemic and our efforts to preposition PPE and other health preparedness efforts for vulnerable communities. However, when the Moria refugee camp on Lesvos, Greece burnt down in 2020, this caused a shock and an emergency response was required. This fund allowed us to book shipments for local transfers of aid at first, followed by larger international shipments of aid in the following days. This allowed for a fast and organised response to this acute emergency.
