Needs Assessments
Needs assessments contribute to our accurate and up-to-date understanding of the situations our receiving groups are working in. They are a very useful tool, bringing together information from different groups in one region and providing an overview of conditions for displaced people. For these assessments, groups provide information, including items they are in particular need of and items that they have excess stock of. We then analyse the information to look at trends and understand specific regional needs. We can also coordinate regional transfers of items if one local group has a surplus of something that another group needs.
