Health&Help | Non-profit clinic in remote area in Guatemala

Deep in the mountains of rural Guatemala, where access to health services is located hours away, a group of enthusiasts founded their own non-profit clinic to provide medical care for 20 000 people. Building was constructed by volunteers from arounf the world together with people of the community. It has emergency room, wards, laboratory, pharmacy, bedrooms and kitchen for volunteers. Recognizable look of the building achieves by decorative and sunprotection screens. Its design simbolizes the main mayan symbol which is a colorful corn.
