VORONOI
Voronoi was a collabroation project by Mian Wei and Karsten Goodwin. Voronoi is an autonomous robot that creates temporary organic sculptures from soap bubbles. Fog is produced in a pressure canister using an ultrasonic fogger. The fog mixes with a soap solution and is pushed through the trumpet shaped heads to form large bubbles. The bubbles collide at the top of the machine to create large voluminous shapes that display fluid dynamics, surface tension, and voronoi cells. Every form created is unique and temporary.
