Alabama Theatre

The original theatre sign, built in December 1927, was a beacon of Birmingham's thriving economy. However, the years took their toll, decomposing it beyond repair, and it was torn down in 1957. As a tribute to that impressive icon, this replica was installed in December 2017 and unveiled at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve. Constructed using modern materials, this 17.5 meter tall sign was the pride of all who contributed to it. The beacon of prosperity is shining, once again.
