Kenya Community Development

Called by some archaeologists the 'cradle of humanity,' today's Kenya has been said to be located where some of the world's first human beings ever stood upright. Today, Kenya remains a country rich in resources and natural wealth. Poor management and leadership however, partnered with weak political institutions and the legacy of colonialism have left a large majority of the country's 48.5 million in poverty and with minimal options. In July, GUD will be traveling to Kenya to partner with three organizations: Destination Teach,(DT), Carolina For Kiberia (CFK) and Pan African Christian Exchange (PACE) Ministries.
