Helsinki Design Week

Helsinki Design Week is the largest design festival in the Nordics. It presents the new faces and phenomena of design, promotes design internationally in collaboration with national and international stakeholders and offers city citizens a forum to participate in developing the city. Founded in 2005, the festival boosts over 250 events and 158,000 visitors. It also runs a design publication Helsinki Design Weekly. This year's festival dates are 6-16 of September. Produced by Luovi Productions.

Design Statement

The festival programme takes place in a variety of event spaces spread throughout the city: from museums to markets, from seminar halls to secret shops. The festival also actively seeks new spaces and ways to explore the city.
