Operation: Tanzania
Hope and Healing supported the construction of CCBRT’s private clinic through this project. CCBRT, a specialized disability hospital in Tanzania and long-time partner of Hope and Healing, provides free or low-cost care to people with disabilities across the country. In 2014, CCBRT initiated private services to help subsidize its healthcare for the most vulnerable (by accepting insurance and/or cash payments from middle- and upper-class Tanzanians). Through this project, a fully equipped new clinic was built to ensure that all children under five, and those who cannot afford essential disability care, could continue to receive free treatment.
