Sight for Swaziland
This project equipped the Kingdom of Swaziland with a National Eye Care Strategy. Sight for Swaziland provided children and adults with both diagnostic and treatment services for eye health. Through mobile clinics set up in primary schools, hundreds of children received eye screenings and assessments. Some were prescribed corrective eye-glasses; others, needing more extensive treatment, were referred to the surgical hub in Sidvokodvo. Adults identified through these clinics were assessed as well and received appropriate treatment, most often for cataract surgery.
