IGP Pulvertechnik AG –  a guarantee for quality, reliability and trustworthiness IGP Pulvertechnik AG, headquartered in Kirchberg, St. Gallen, develops and manufactures powder coating systems for surface applications in architecture and industry as well as for the transport and wood furniture industries. The company employs about 400 people and has a turnover of around CHF 150 million per year. 85% of the 13,000 tons of powder coatings produced are exported to Europe. IGP has subsidiaries in eight countries in Europe. Due to continuous quality improvements and the expansion of technology resources, IGP was able to significantly extend its leadership in recent years and clearly differentiate itself from the competition. During this time, a training and education centre was created, among other things, and the area of the production halls as well as the number of employees grew enormously. In Europe, IGP is one of the top 10 powder coating manufacturers; we are the market leader in Switzerland. Since the 1990s, IGP is 100% owned by Curt Christian Dold. History Founded in 1968, IGP is a pioneer in the field of powder coating technology: the first powder coating used in Switzerland for the purpose of industrial powder coating was from IGP. The company has influenced the manufacturing process and development of this technique and contributed to the fact that powder-coated surfaces have been introduced in many industries.
