Since 1989 Ralf Jakubowski is design consultant and designer in the fields of product design and visual communication. Several times his visionary design studies on socially relevant topics were honored. Ralf Jakubowski was lecturer of design-theory at Hochschule Niederrhein and lecturer of design-management at Muthesius Hochschule Kiel. His “safety and mobility concept for a Europe unified executive” in 2001 was significantly for the color scheme of today's police vehicles in Germany. His "red dot awarded" product "TraffiTower" changed the importance of product design of an entire industry in 2006 and is a part of the permanent collection of the transportation center of the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
