MALAFOR
MALAFOR is design studio of 2 people: Agata Kulik-Pomorska and Pawel Pomorski. In 2003 he finished the Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. In 2004 decided to create MALAFOR. We started by creating objects, which could produce in short bursts (such as Newspaper Pipe Line Table and shelf). Now, we are also working on projects for the industrial design of its own brand, such as "Active Basket" - a shopping baskets for persons moving in a wheelchair and household projects commissioned by external companies. Our projects have worked well in international competitions such as the Targetti Light Art Award in Florence Italy, where we have won the Grand Prix in 2006 and and the competition NAGOYA DESIGN DO! , Japan ,where we have won the Grand Prix in 2006. We are also the winners of other awards at international design competitions. We participated in many national and international exhibitions, such as recently in the Polish pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the Seoul Design Fair 2010, SaloneSatellite 2010 in Milan, 2011 in Milan. It happens that we create objects of new features but it happens also that our facility creates a new function. Take very seriously the usefulness of our projects, but their appearance and the idea has already treated lightly, with the second bottom. We live in Poland, but our products are stateless, they prove to the world.
