VUE HOTEL HOUHAI BEIJING
Against the backdrop of Beijing’s solemn heritage, VUE (80 rooms and 3 F&Bs) presents an alternative take to luxury and seeks to transcend Chinese tradition with a culturally-inspired twist. In French ‘VUE’ means “a way to see”. VUE offers whimsical quirkiness and authenticity to increasingly-sophisticated Chinese consumers. Inspiration came from imagining that VUE’s presence magically transforms the lake’s animal inhabitants to become human-like tourists, who curiously explore the hotel. The art installations present a fresh way “to view” conventional opulent Chinese luxury.
