Mirko Cresta

After graduating from the School of Art in Lugano (CH), Mirko Cresta worked for 2 years for the advertising agency G/D/S in Gnosca (Ticino) and from 1997 to 2003, for Massa & Marti in Milan. In 2002 he graduated from the Domus Academy (Milan) obtaining a Master degree in Interaction Design. In 2004 after working two months for Burson Marsteller in Milan he moved to Lucasdesign in Bellinzona (Ticino) where he worked until August 2008. His works have been appearing on the magazine Drome since March 2005. Since 2008 he's been working as a graphic designer in Zurich for Scholtysik Niederberger Kraft AG and later for Senger und Partners GmbH. In November 2011 he was hired from the advertising agency Spinas Civil Voices. Mirko Cresta won the second prize with the animation work "Überleben:" at the Minimotion Shortfilms Festival 2010 and a Silver Award in the "Digital Self-Promotion" section at the European Design Awards 2011.
