Charif Benhelima: Polaroid’s, 1998 - 2012 December 5th - March 20th, 2016

Curatorship: Daniella Géo and Christophe De Jaeger. Room: 2. The exhibition is a retrospective of the photographic research in Polaroid of Charif Benhelima - one of the biggest names in contemporary Belgian art. His work is today one of the most innovative and consequent researches in Polaroid. The artshow features about 130 Polaroid’s besides from three to five works in large format (derived from Polaroid), being divided into four series. The project was initiated by the Palais de Beaux-Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels, and was also presented in Niterói Contemporary Art Museum (MAC).
