Museum Kunstpalast Düsseldorf
Redesigned by Oswald Matthias Ungers in 2001, Museum Kunstpalast is located in the centre of Düsseldorf. Since its reopening in 2001 it has established an international reputation with high-calibre exhibitions, including Miró, Dalí, Warhol, Caravaggio, Bonjour Russland as well as Diana and Actaeon. The Robert-Schumann Hall – on the lower level of the building – also offers a sophisticated programme ranging from chamber music to cabaret. In order to call attention to the reopening of the collection Museum Kunstpalast the guerilla campaign “ART SET(S) FREE!” was developed. In 2012 Museum Kunstpalast will show two very special highlights: El Greco and Modernism and Andreas Gursky. Photo: Hans-Jürgen Bauer
