Russian Bridge

Russian Bridge is a bridge built across the Eastern Bosphorus strait. The bridge to Russky Island is the world`s longest cable-stayed, with a 1104 m long central span. The bridge also has the longest cable stays. The main idea of the architectural lighting concept is creation of an illusion of a bridge floating in the air using intensive highlighting of the supports and numerous stay cables painted in the colors of the Russian flag. Undoubtedly, bridge decorative lighting design is a special field of lighting design requiring special attention to the relevant functional and architectural peculiarities of such constructions.
