NEW CLASSICS. Born in 1922 as a world-famous facility that anyone could use and as a social gathering place for large numbers of people, with the Imperial Palace right before guests’ eyes. The aim for the third incarnation of the main building was to fuse traditional with modern by providing new sensibilities and the latest functionality while inheriting the memories of Tokyo Kaikan nurtured over its almost 100-year history, based on the concept “NEW CLASSICS”.
