
Environmental awareness in urban areas for sustainable food production and consumption
Through playful-pedagogical activities based on a participatory methodology, PSF seeks to generate a better understanding of the nature that surrounds us, as well as fostering habits and skills to care for it. In 2020, our intervention directly benefited 22 people from 3 vulnerable communities. Moreover, it has been possible to strengthen the social fabric between the residents of two different neighborhoods, through community work in community gardens. Additionally, now 80 people know the ways to make an urban edible garden, recycle, and manufacture home remedies and products as well.
