Charcoal Grill | Caterpillar
The Caterpillar licensee for outdoor appliances approached us with an idea to create a line of garden grills that resemble tool chests. They had to look rugged and industrial, in line with tool chests found in workshops across the US. Using Caterpillar branding and colours, we created several concepts for a charcoal grill, of which the shown one was chosen. The whole grill is made of stainless steel sheet metal, spray painted and then assembled together. The idea of designing a tool chest like grill was not only for marketing purpose but to get a mix of look and usability that would improve on the whole BBQ experience.
