Lincoln Children's Zoo
Roto was hired to perform master planning services for the Lincoln Children’s Zoo expansion, where the effort focused on creating a series of animal exhibits that would elevate the zoo’s offering to guests. New features include the indoor Secret Jungle (where kids can explore a rainforest canopy side-by-side with a troop of spider monkeys), an adventure stream, and the zoo’s icon—Ellie the Elephant (an enormous outdoor climbing structure). In addition, the master plan introduced numerous amenities to the zoo, including new restaurant facilities, retail, and an outdoor events center.
